Villa La Cascina, once a distinguished old
Tuscan farmhouse, has been completely
restored to its original splendor. This superb
property, while offering the most elegant,
country style accommodation, has an
impressive hilltop location that affords a
spectacular 360 degree views that stretch for
miles across the estate to the neighboring
towns and villages. Sunny and bright yet
airy and cool, the villa features southerly
facing living rooms with typical Tuscan
brick arches, grand master fireplace living
and dining areas, opening onto terraces
through a façade of French doors. The large
country kitchen, with fabulous central work
area, is equipped with high-tech Italian
fittings and fixtures. Fitted with state of the
art equipment, it is perfect for chefs,
would-be chefs and for holding great,
hands-on cooking classes and
demonstrations. The cool and airy bedrooms
are all decorated in rich Tuscan country style
with coordinating natural fabrics, each with
en-suite bath and fitted with cool, white
porcelain and spacious showers. The villa is
fully AIR CONDITIONED. When rented
with Podere Montaione, and Villa Cerretto,
this is a perfect location for weddings on
corporate retreats.
Outside is a mosaic tiled infinity pool with a
hydro-message area, and old stone paved
solarium furnished with ample sun beds.
Adjacent to the pool is very large pool
veranda (3000 sq. ft.), furnished for al fresco
dining and relaxation with beautifully
cushioned sofas and chairs and a fantastically
set up BBQ area. This is an ideal spot for
parties and family gatherings. Beyond the
pool is a Mediterranean garden with olive
groves, cypresses, rose and lavender beds and
aromatic shrubs. The pool, loggia and garden
are all lighted at night.
