Once a distinguished old Tuscan farmhouse,
Podere Montaione has been completely
restored to its original splendor. This superb
property offers the most elegant, luxurious,
country style accommodation. The
impressive hilltop location affords
spectacular , sweeping 360 degree views that
stretch literally for miles across the estate of
Santo Stefano to the neighboring tons and
villages. The property comprises in the main
villa six fully independent, superior
apartment suites and a smaller annex with
two further suites. Spacious, with private
living rooms and full country kitchens, all of
the suites ensure maximum privacy and extra
personal space.
The pool house offers a beautiful country
kitchen and large, comfortably furnished
dining / living room where all guests can
dine together. Double glass doors open out
directly to the loggia (pool veranda), which
with its fantastic panoramica is the perfect
setting for alfresco dining, especially at sunset.
The fully furnished outside loggia (pool
veranda) offers shade on hot, hazy afternoons
for guests to relax and take in the garden with
its breathtaking views
Furnished in a stunning Tuscan style with
color washed walls in rich Tuscan hues, and
gorgeous , coordinated fabrics, the villa is
both comfortable and refined with a select
number of restored antiques. The property is
fully AIR CONDITIONED throughout.
The splendid, mosaic tiled infinity pool has
its own spa bath, is one depth and has
sweeping Roman steps leading into it for
simple access. The pool coping is paved in
marble and terracotta.
The extensive Mediterranean garden features
winding terracotta walkways, vast green lawn
areas and pretty borders of lavender, thyme
and roses. The outside area is lit at night.
Podere Montaione as a villa is particularly
suitable for family reunions, groups of
extended family or friends and as individual
suites offers every comfort. When rented with
the other villas on the estate, it is a perfect
setting for a Tuscan wedding.
The main villa and pool house together sleep
20 / 22 people. Twelve bedrooms with eleven
bathrooms appointed in six suites, (four ground
floor and two on the first floor).
The main house with dependence cottage and
pool house sleeps 26 / 28 people. Sixteen
Bedrooms with fifteen bathrooms appointed in
six suites in the main house and two suites in
the cottage
The Suites: The suites are either two or three
bedrooms, with two bathrooms and can sleep
2 - 5 guests. Each suite is fully AIR
CONDITIONED and has its own fully
equipped country kitchen, dining area and
comfortable living room, some with sofa bed
and most have fireplaces, and SAT TV. All
of the ground floor suites have their own
private entrance.
The Pool House: This beautifully restored
brick barn serves as a central area for guests
to gather together. It offers a spacious living
and dining area, a full country kitchen
(double oven, cook top, grill and dishwasher),
private bath, vast open fireplace and
enormous outdoor double BBQ grill, work
area and roasting spit. It is also fully AIR
CONDITIONED and heated.
